These neighborhoods—Oaklandon, Fort Ben, Indian Lake, Lanesville, The Pike, Sunnyside, Geist’s Edge, and The Ridge—each have their own unique identity and story.

Fort Ben

Lanesville

Lanesville, the oldest part of Lawrence, offers a unique blend of history and community spirit. Originally named after a prominent resident and located near the Bee Line Railroad and Pendleton Pike, the area was renamed Lawrence in 1866.

Oaklandon

Founded in 1849 and rich in history, Oaklandon offers a unique blend of small-town charm and modern convenience.

The Pike

The Pike neighborhood, centered around Pendleton Pike (U.S. Route 36), is a vibrant area offering convenience and cultural diversity. Located near Interstate 465 with easy access via exits 40 and 42, it’s well-connected to the broader Indianapolis region.

The Ridge

Sunnyside
